Guftara collects information you provide when you create and use an account, including your name, email address, password credentials handled through authentication systems, submitted website URL, website scan consent, and account settings.

When you submit a website, Guftara may collect public website content, page URLs, page titles, scan status, failed page information, indexed pages, and related technical information needed to prepare the Preview Assistant experience.

When you use the Preview Assistant, Guftara may process your questions, assistant responses, conversation identifiers, and source page information when source visibility is enabled.

Guftara uses information to create and manage your account, preserve your submitted website intent through authentication, scan your active website, prepare indexed pages, power the private Preview Assistant, show scan status, maintain user settings, and support account-related workflows such as email verification and password reset.

Guftara also uses information to protect the platform, enforce permission requirements, prevent misuse, troubleshoot product behavior, and improve reliability of the user experience.

You must not submit a website unless you own it or have permission from the website owner or authorized representative. Guftara processes submitted websites based on the user's representation that they have the required authority.

Guftara is not responsible for a user's unauthorized submission of a website, disputes about website ownership or permission, or consequences that arise because a user submitted a website they were not allowed to submit.

Guftara may use authentication and session technologies to keep users signed in, protect account access, refresh sessions, and route users through product flows such as dashboard, settings, website scan, and Preview Assistant screens.

Guftara does not require users to publish their Preview Assistant activity publicly. Information may be shared when needed to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, protect Guftara and others, enforce these policies, or respond to a user's authorized request.

If a user submits a website without permission, the user remains responsible for that submission and for any related claim or dispute.

Guftara keeps account information, submitted website information, scan records, indexed pages, settings, and Preview Assistant data for as long as needed to provide the platform, maintain records, protect against misuse, comply with obligations, or support legitimate business needs.

Guftara uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the platform. No online service can guarantee complete security, and users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and submitting only websites they are authorized to submit.

Guftara may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, legal requirements, or business needs change. Continued use of Guftara after an updated policy is posted means the updated policy applies to future use of the platform.
